Yggdrasil built Of Sabers and Monsters WildFight around four warrior heroes battling their way through a Cossack-flavoured adventure, reworking the mechanical bones of its Vikings Go series into a new skin. The reels sit over sunlit fields, weathered buildings and a lone crow under fast-moving clouds; triggering or buying free spins scrolls the scene into darker, skull-strewn territory where the monsters live.

Six reels and four rows generate wins across 4,096 ways, with matches paying for three or more identical symbols landing on consecutive reels from the left. Hit frequency runs at 20.26% and RTP tops out at 96%, though three lower configurations — 94%, 90.5% and 86% — are also available. Stakes span 20p/c up to $/€50 a spin.

Card suits — clubs, diamonds, hearts and spades — form the low-paying end of the paytable, each worth 0.5x the bet for five in a row. The Feather Symbol appears only on the rightmost reel and hands out a random prize whenever it lands: in the base game that's a 4-200x cash award, 8-20 free spins, or entry into Tempest Free Spins; inside free spins it's cash, 2-4 extra spins, an extra wild, or a randomly placed Wild Reel; inside Tempest Free Spins it's cash or 2-4 additional spins.

Free spins scale with scatter count: three lands 8 spins, four lands 12, five lands 16, and six lands the full 20, with a pre-round gamble option to push the total higher — a failed gamble forfeits the spins entirely. Every entry adds one random bonus on top of the spins themselves — extra Feathers loaded onto the sixth reel, additional spins, a single Sticky Wild, a full Sticky Wild Reel, or a Hero already sitting in Ardent Mode. The same Monster-battle mechanic runs throughout the round, with any Sticky Wilds created staying in place for the rest of the feature.
