Out of the Woods

What Out of the Woods has actually done in our bonus hunts

We have opened Out of the Woods 23 times across 23 separate bonus hunts between 10 Jul 2026 and 14 Oct 2026 and recorded every result. Across those 23 opens the median result was 43.04× the bet, against 50.1× for every slot in our recorded dataset. The biggest single result we have recorded on it is 446.04×. 3 of those 23 opens were 100× or better. These figures describe only the sessions we recorded — they are not this slot's RTP and they do not predict what your next bonus will do.

Four friends running from an owl-worshipping cult through a moonless forest give Out of the Woods its premise, a noticeably darker turn for Pragmatic Play that follows the same path as Hell Butcher rather than the studio's usual candy and fruit machine catalogue. The reels sit against a grim woodland backdrop, with the group's fate implied rather than shown outright.

The grid runs 5x4 with 25 fixed paylines, and Pragmatic Play rates the volatility as medium across three available RTP settings, the highest sitting at 96.52%. Stakes span 0.25 to 250 per spin. Card ranks from 10 to Ace, each shown caught in a trap, form the lower-value symbols and pay 1.2x to 3.6x the bet for five in a row, while four cult-themed characters make up the premiums, paying 6x to 24x for the same line length. An owl wild appears on every reel, substitutes for everything but the scatter, and a full line of five pays 24x.

That owl wild is also the base for the Multiplier Wild feature, which only ever lands as a full stack across a reel, carrying values of x1, x2, x3 and x4 from bottom to top. Any spin where a winning combination includes one of these stacks triggers a respin: the stack shifts down the reel, revealing fresh Multiplier Wilds above it, and each position it drops adds one to every multiplier in the stack. A golden-rimmed wild at the base of the stack sends it sliding down between 2 and 10 positions instead of the usual one, extending the run considerably.

Three, four or five scatters award 10, 15 or 20 free spins respectively, carrying the multiplier-stack mechanic into the bonus with a twist: the first stack that lands still starts at the base range, but every stack after it begins from whatever the highest multiplier reached previously was, then continues climbing from there. Scatters landing during the round add a further set of spins depending on how many appear.

Two special bets sit alongside the regular game: the Ante Bet, at 5x the stake, makes triggering free spins around 13 times more likely, while the Super Spin, at 10x, guarantees a Multiplier Wild stack on every spin but locks out free spins entirely while it's active. Players can also buy straight into the bonus, either the standard round for 100x the bet or a Super Free Spins version for 500x, which starts its wild stacks already carrying noticeably higher multipliers. The maximum win across any of these routes is 10,000x the bet.
