Reel Rush XXXtreme

Our recorded Reel Rush XXXtreme bonus

We have opened Reel Rush XXXtreme once on 20 Sep 2026 on stream and logged the result. The best of them paid 0× the bet. That is too few open to say anything about how the game behaves — it is a record of what happened on that occasion, nothing more.

A diamond-shaped play area returns for Reel Rush XXXtreme, NetEnt's reworking of its 2013 original that pushes the mathematics well past that game and 2019's Reel Rush 2. Each base game spin starts with active positions arranged in a 1-3-5-3-1 pattern across the five reels rather than filling the whole grid.

Wins unlock the covered positions around them, and as more of the diamond opens up the number of ways to win climbs from 45 at the very start of a round toward a maximum of 3,125 once the full 5x5 grid is exposed. Six oval candies form the low-value symbols, paying 0.33x the stake for six of a kind, while plum, grape, watermelon, lemon, pineapple and strawberry icons make up the higher tier, worth 0.67x to 10x for six matching. A wild symbol can appear on any reel except the leftmost in every stage of the round and substitutes for everything other than the Mystery Feature symbols.

A winning spin in the base game opens the Respins feature, which can run for up to five rounds and uncovers two new grid positions with each one before paying out the accumulated total. Every newly revealed position can carry a Regular or a Golden Mystery symbol. Regular reveals add a permanent +1 to the round's multiplier, place a wild on that position for the next respin, or unlock an extra pair of covered positions - awarding a bonus free spin instead if none remain to unlock. Golden reveals carry more weight: a flat +10 added to the multiplier, a wild that locks in place for the rest of the round, or a reel-wide expansion that turns any wild on that reel into a full column from that point on. When the locking wild and the reel-wide expansion both land on the same reel in the same round, that reel becomes permanently wild for whatever remains of it.

Uncovering every position on the grid during the base game hands over 7 free spins played on the fully exposed 5x5 layout. Any multiplier value already built up carries straight into the bonus, along with any locked-in wilds or reel-wide wild expansions earned during the respins, plus whatever wilds landed on the respin that triggered it.

The Elevate Feature offers three paid entry points instead of one flat buy price. XXXtreme Spins 1 costs 3x the stake and guarantees a single Golden Mystery reveal; XXXtreme Spins 2, at 25x, guarantees at least one Golden reveal and fills every covered position with a Mystery symbol; and XXXtreme Spins 3, at 200x, guarantees four Golden reveals and a Regular Mystery symbol on every remaining position.

Volatility is rated high, with a default RTP of 96.06% that steps down to 94.02% and 88.04% in two alternate configurations. The maximum win is 8,130x the stake, with bets from 0.30 to 60 per spin.
