Secret City Gold

Pragmatic Play sets Secret City Gold in a humid, overgrown jungle scene, complete with a waterfall, drifting fireflies and a soundtrack that leans into a Central and South American register, especially once the free spins begin. The grid runs five reels by four rows across 25 fixed paylines, and the game plays across tablet, mobile and desktop alike.

Standard A-to-10 card symbols fill out the lower-value slots, paying 0.4x to 1x for five in a row, while a set of carved, exotic-looking icons form the premium tier at 1.2x to 4x, topped by a grinning golden coin. A wild appears across all five reels, substitutes for every paying symbol, and pays up to 8x on its own for a full line of five.

The game's headline mechanic, Shape Wins, can appear on any spin: a random pattern marks out a cluster of positions on the grid, and once ordinary paylines have paid, every symbol inside that shape switches to match whichever symbol already sits within it. The newly matched shape then pays again left to right, with the whole result multiplied by a random factor between 1x and 10x.

Landing three, four or five scatters pays an instant 2x, 10x or 50x the bet and sends the game into 8 Free Spins. Shape Wins keeps firing throughout the round, but the random multiplier it generates no longer resets between shapes — instead it accumulates into a running total that climbs by roughly one each time a new shape completes, and that growing figure is what gets applied to every subsequent Shape Win. Extra scatters that land during the round add a further spin apiece.

Betting ranges from 0.25 up to 125 a spin, and Secret City Gold pays out on roughly one spin in three. Pragmatic Play rates the volatility at the top of its own five-point scale, the standard RTP tops out at 96.06% with 95.00% and 94.06% alternate settings also available, and the maximum win is 10,000x the bet. Most of that ceiling is chased inside the free spins, where a long run of Shape Wins can push the accumulating multiplier well past where a base-game hit ever could.
