Space Invaders

Inspired Gaming built Space Invaders around the mechanics of the 1978 arcade shooter that lends the game its name, translating a side-scrolling shoot-'em-up into a 5-reel, 3-row format with 20 fixed paylines. The look updates the source material's 8-bit style into brighter, more colourful visuals while keeping the blocky character design intact, paired with rhythmic chiptune-style music and gun-effect sound design. Four low-paying invader symbols return 2.5-5x the stake for five of a kind, three higher-value space icons plus the game logo pay 10-25x, and Wild symbols - whether landing naturally or added by a feature - substitute for everything except the scatter.

During base-game spins, a UFO can fly across the top of the reels with a cannon beneath it; shooting the UFO down awards one of five modifiers, among them a cannon that seeds Wilds onto the three middle reels, an effect that makes any Wild landing afterward expand across its whole reel, a guaranteed five-of-a-kind win, three reels merging into oversized 3x3 symbols, and extra scatters being added for that spin. Two further random effects can follow a losing spin: a UFO beam that grows a symbol to a larger size, or a cannon that clears invader symbols so new ones cascade into place. A separate Lock 'n Spin Invasion chance can also fire after a spin, locking every instance of one chosen symbol type in place until no further matches land.

Landing three or more bonus coin scatters sends play to a bonus wheel awarding one of six rounds - among them a shooting gallery for a bet multiplier, a climbing-UFO pick game, and free spin variants themed around the sticky, expanding and mega-reel Wild effects already seen in the base game - with an end-of-round coin pick that can close the bonus, extend it, or push into a further round. A Spin Chance side option also lets a player wager a balance too small to cover the next spin for one last shot at a result.

RTP is listed at 95%, volatility sits between medium and high, and the maximum win reaches 1,250x the stake, equivalent to $250,000 at the top bet of 100 from a range starting at 0.20.
