Wins of Winter

Falling snow and wrapped presents set the scene in Wins of Winter, a Fantasma Games slot placed in an enchanted, snow-covered realm. Snow crystals, golden flakes and gift boxes make up much of the artwork, and a gentle, whimsical soundtrack plays throughout. It launched at the end of November 2022.

The game uses five reels, 20 fixed paylines and wins that pay from left to right. The RTP is 96% with medium volatility, the maximum win is 5,000x the stake, and the hit frequency is 16.45%. Bets run from 0.20 to 160.

Most of the action revolves around snowflakes. Each one that lands adds a point to the Progression Meter and leaves its position frozen. A snowflake can randomly change into a golden one, and that sets off a spreading effect which turns every adjacent frozen position into a Winter Wild. Those wilds do the usual job of substituting for other symbols, so a well-timed golden flake can connect several lines at once.

The Progression Meter feeds a progressive multiplier that can climb as high as 100x. Whenever the count reaches the 50 and 100 thresholds, the Mirror Feature fires, which increases symbol frequency and pushes volatility upward for a while. The title also lists a Chest Feature among its extras, giving the base game several independent routes to a bigger payout.

The bonus game is entered by collecting 3 bonus symbols, shown as magical presents. Inside it the player opens gifts for surprise rewards, every win is multiplied by whatever the progressive multiplier has reached, and the round can be retriggered. That link matters, because a high multiplier built up over many base-game spins carries straight into the bonus.

Session flow is therefore split in two: a slower stretch of snowflake collection in the base game, where meter progress matters as much as individual line wins, followed by the present-opening round where the accumulated multiplier is cashed in.
