Bomb Bonanza

Pragmatic Play sets Bomb Bonanza in a wood-built Wild West town, where a prospector stands beside a crate of dynamite on the edge of a 5-reel, 5-row grid crossed by 50 fixed paylines. Card royals from J through A form the lower-paying symbols, worth 2x to 3x the stake for five in a row, while pickaxes, gold sacks, mining pans, and the prospector himself sit above them at 6x to 12x for a full line.

Bomb symbols act as the wild here, substituting for any paying symbol, and they carry a base-game trick beyond simple substitution: any bomb that lands has a chance to expand, growing to cover a 2x2, 3x3, 4x4, or even the full 5x5 grid. The expansion spreads outward toward whichever of the four grid edges it starts closest to, and a wild that grows near a border can push straight off the grid.

Scatters appear only on reels one, three, and five, and landing all three sends the action underground into a mine for the free spins round, which opens with six spins on the clock. Down there, nugget symbols start showing up on the reels and collecting on a meter in the top corner; each nugget that lands explodes on the spot, and the symbols above tumble down to fill the gap it leaves behind. Filling the meter moves the round up through a series of levels, and each one changes how big the wilds can grow: five nuggets reach level two for guaranteed 2x2 wilds plus four extra spins, another five nuggets reach level three for 3x3 wilds and two more spins, five more after that unlock level four for 4x4 wilds and two further spins, and just three nuggets at that point complete level five, guaranteeing full 5x5 wilds along with one final spin. Until the meter starts filling, wilds in the bonus stay at their normal single-tile size.

Betting runs from 0.25 to 125 per spin against a headline RTP of 96.46%, though Pragmatic Play also ships reduced configurations at 95.50% and 94.50% depending on where the game is deployed. Volatility is rated high, and the maximum win caps at 2,000x the stake — modest by the studio's usual standards, with the tumbling nugget mechanic and level-based wild growth doing more to shape the pace of a session than any single outsized hit.
