Pragmatic Play pairs an unlikely duo on opposite sides of the reels in Dwarf & Dragon, where a gem-clutching dwarf anchors one edge of the grid while a dragon's tail and head wrap around the frame from the other. The five-reel, four-row layout runs 1,024 ways to win, with winning combinations starting on the leftmost reel and running across at least three connected reels.

Nine regular symbols make up the paytable, each able to land in a split state: a run of five coloured gems — red, yellow, purple, blue and green — forms the lower tier, with lanterns, dynamite, picks and maps sitting above them as the premiums. A five-of-a-kind win pays a modest multiple of the stake, and any split symbol that forms part of a winning line doubles the total win for that combination. A wild symbol appears on reels two, three and four and substitutes for everything except the scatter.

Wilds carry the game's main mechanic: any that land can bring a random multiplier of x2, x3, x5 or x10, and because split wilds can hold a separate value on each half, more than one multiplier landing in the same win simply adds together before being applied. Scatters handle the free spins side of things — three, four or five or more landing in the base game award 10, 15 or 20 free spins respectively, and further scatters during the round add another 3, 10, 15 or 25 spins depending on how many land.
