Gems of Serengeti

Pragmatic Play frames Gems of Serengeti around the African savanna, with grasslands, a winding river, rocky outcrops and wide skies filling the backdrop behind a grid stocked with wildlife and precious stones. The presentation leans into that outdoor scale rather than anything closer or more stylised.

Five reels and four rows hold 20 fixed ways to win, paying from card-rank symbols at the low end up to vultures, leopards, cheetahs, lions and two named human characters at the high end; five-of-a-kind results run from roughly 5 to 7.5 times the stake for the low symbols and 10 to 37.5 times for the high ones. A wild pays 10 times the stake for five of a kind and substitutes for every regular symbol.

Gem symbols appear across every reel, and landing five or more starts the Respin feature: any line wins are paid first, then the grid resets to show only Gems and empty spaces, holding the triggering Gems in place for three respins. Any new Gem that lands during those respins locks where it sits and resets the respin count back to three, and the round only ends once the respins run out or the whole grid is filled. The payout scales with however many Gems ended up on the grid, running from a single times-stake win at five Gems up to 500 times the stake if all twenty positions fill.

Landing bonus symbols on reels one, three and five awards 10 free spins, and Gem symbols collected during that round are tallied separately from the base game. Finishing the free spins with between five and nineteen collected Gems triggers a respin that starts with that many Gems already placed on the grid at random. Collecting twenty or more Gems during the round skips the respin entirely and pays out directly, scaling from 500 times the stake at twenty collected up to the game's full 4,000 times stake maximum at twenty-seven. The free spins round itself cannot be retriggered.

Pragmatic Play rates the game at up to 4.5 out of 5 for volatility, with a headline 96.4% return to player alongside two lower configurations at 95.35% and 94.36%, and stakes set between 0.20 and 100 per spin.

Most of the game's range sits behind the Gem count rather than the paytable itself, so both the base-game Respin feature and the free spins round work as two separate routes toward the same collected-Gems payout table, with the free spins version carrying the higher ceiling.
