Happy Bamboo

Push Gaming shrinks its 2022 release Big Bamboo down to a three-reel format for Happy Bamboo, part of the studio's Reel Hot Games line of classic-style titles. Clouds and a distant pagoda frame a compact 3x3 grid, with a panda mascot perched above the reels collecting coins toward the game's hold-and-respin round, and listed jackpot values sitting alongside the grid itself.

Five ways to win run across the reduced grid, meaning only three-of-a-kind combinations are possible. Card suits — diamonds, spades, hearts and clubs — sit at the bottom of the paytable for 0.5x to 1x the stake, gourds and scrolls pay 3x to 5x, and monkey and panda symbols pay between 25x and 100x. A wild substitutes for every paying symbol and always returns 100x the bet when it completes a line. Betting ranges from 0.10 to 100 a spin, volatility is set to medium, and the game ships with three RTP settings, the highest configured at 96.31%.

Mystery Bamboo symbols can land in any position and, once the reels stop, all of them flip to reveal a matching outcome — either a wild, a regular pay symbol, or a Golden Mystery Bamboo. The golden version spins through its own set of outcomes: Coin symbols worth 1x to 100x the bet outright, Collector symbols that gather up the value of every other coin, jackpot and collector symbol on the grid before those positions respin, Multiplier symbols worth 2x to 10x that get applied to every coin, jackpot and collector symbol before being removed and respun, and Mystery Jackpot symbols that pay out one of four fixed prizes: 10x for the Mini, 25x for the Minor, 100x for the Mega, or 500x for the Grand.

A Swapper feature triggers whenever the Panda symbol lands along the top row: two symbols on the grid then exchange positions if doing so completes a win. Separately, Golden Coins gathered by the panda mascot can trigger the Hold and Respin round, where a wheel spin sets an end-of-round multiplier between 2x and 10x before the reels begin respinning. During that sequence, new Mystery Bamboo symbols lock in place whenever they land, while non-feature symbols end the run; once no further Mystery Bamboo symbols appear or the grid fills completely, every locked symbol reveals its outcome and the total win is multiplied by whatever value the wheel landed on.
