Elk Studios sets its cluster-pays release Joker Gems inside a colourful nebula, letting a space backdrop sit alongside a classic joker-themed paytable across a 5x3 grid. Seven regular symbols populate the reels: four gem-based low-pay icons alongside three premium symbols in the shape of bars, sevens and jokers.

Wins form through connected clusters rather than fixed paylines. Landing three or more matching symbols in a group triggers a payout and a respin, and the cluster is free to keep growing across further respins until no more matching symbols land next to it. A random feature called the Light Chaser Feature can also fire during play, sweeping across the grid before stopping to hand out a cluster win worth four or five identical symbols, again followed by a respin.

Joker Gems carries three fixed jackpots on top of its cluster payouts: a small prize, a medium prize and a top prize, worth 10,000, 20,000 and 50,000 euros respectively. Each is unlocked by completing one of three preset cluster shapes with matching symbols - the central block of 3x3 positions for the smallest jackpot, the sixteen positions surrounding it for the mid-tier prize, and the full grid for the largest. All three can be triggered from a minimum bet, though betting higher improves the odds of landing one, and there is no cap on how many times a player can collect them across a session. Between 15% and 20% of the game's overall return is allocated to funding these jackpot prizes.

Outside of the jackpots, the maximum win from the cluster game itself is 700x the bet. Elk Studios rates the volatility at 8 out of 10, the RTP is set at 96.3%, and hit frequency comes in at 16.5%. Bets run from 0.20 up to 100 per spin.

Because so much of the return is routed into the jackpot pool, the base cluster game plays on the calmer side, with the Light Chaser Feature and the growing clusters providing the more regular action while the fixed jackpots stand as the game's headline prizes - reachable at any bet size but never guaranteed on any given spin.
