Legends Battle Of Earth

Octoplay puts players on the hero side of a comic-book conflict in Legends Battle Of Earth, matching the panel-style illustration and versus-style framing it uses across its other Showdown Spins releases.

The base game runs on a 6-reel, 4-row grid across 20 paylines. Ten-to-Ace card ranks are the lowest-paying symbols, returning 3x to 10x the bet for six of a kind, while five hero character symbols pay 12x to 50x the bet for a six-symbol win. Wild symbols substitute for any paying symbol and pay 100x the bet on a five-wild line.

A Wild Toolbox symbol can land during the base game and substitutes for everything except the scatter. Up to two can appear on the same spin — one confined to the first three reels, the other to the last three — and each one sets off between three and eight modifiers across the grid, capped at five of the same type. Those modifiers either turn a random symbol into a wild, or attach a x2, x3 or x5 multiplier to one — and when two or more multipliers land on the same spot, their values combine.

Landing three or more scatter symbols opens Showdown Spins, and the starting conditions scale with how many scatters triggered it: three scatters sets both sides at 1,000 Health Points, four raises that to 1,250 and guarantees one Ally and one Enemy on the first spin, five raises it to 1,500 with two of each guaranteed, and six sets 2,000 Health Points with a Mini-Boss guaranteed on both sides. The round itself plays out on a single row of six reels populated only by Allies, Enemies, Booster Toolbox symbols and blanks. Matched-up characters fight automatically, each losing Attack Power equal to their opponent's, and whichever side hits zero is removed from play.

Destroyed Enemies release their Cash Prize, banked up to a combined cap of 3,000x the bet; destroyed Allies add theirs to a separate Prize Pool, also capped at 3,000x, and that Prize Pool pays out when the Showdown round is won. Once every Enemy is cleared, any surviving Allies turn their Attack Power on the Enemy Health total directly, with each survivor's Attack Power rising by 10 after every spin it lives through — and the same happens in reverse if the reels run out of Allies while Enemies remain. The round ends the instant either health total hits zero.

Booster Toolbox symbols add +25 Attack Power per level to every Ally on the allied side of the grid, or add +10 in Cash Prize value per level to every Enemy on the other side, levelling up by one each time a matching character is present there, up to a maximum of level 10.

Legends Battle Of Earth can also be bought into directly for 100x the bet, which carries its own RTP of 95.85%, separate from the base 95.7% RTP on the standard game. Volatility is rated medium (3 out of 5), hit frequency is 25.50%, and the maximum win is 6,000x the stake. Bets range from 0.10 to 150 per spin.
