About Shaolin Panda Chaos Reels

Octoplay, the Malta-based studio that launched in October 2022, sets Shaolin Panda Chaos Reels in a misty, moonlit mountain scene built around a martial-arts panda that punches the reels and leaves paw prints across the screen.

The base game runs on what Octoplay calls Chaos Reels: the grid isn't fixed, and each spin can display anywhere from three to six reels, each holding between three and six symbols, so the playing field itself changes shape from one spin to the next. Wins need matching symbols across at least three adjacent reels starting from the left, which keeps the varying grid readable despite the shifting reel count. Ten pay symbols populate the reels: royal card ranks from 10 through Ace cover the low end, while dumplings, dragon fruit, bamboo shoots, rice balls and watermelon fill out the top of the pay table, worth up to 2.4x the stake for the lows and up to 5x for the highs across an eight-of-a-kind line.

The Shaolin Panda wild spans a single reel three symbols tall and substitutes for every paying symbol. Landing one in the base game hands out one of three random modifiers. Panda Punch scatters mystery symbols across the reels and can bolt on extra reels filled entirely with mystery symbols, each mystery tile revealing one matching pay symbol other than the dumpling. Panda Wild sends the panda's spirit hopping between positions, turning every symbol it touches wild. Panda Multiplier plants an escalating multiplier down a single reel, starting at 5x and climbing in steps of five to a ceiling of 40x, applied to any win that includes it — and during Panda Punch's chaos mode, the grid can expand to eight reels of eight symbols each.

Three free-spin scatters trigger a ten-spin round in which the panda collects dumpling symbols as they land. Every ten dumplings gathered advances the round a level, adding extra spins and locking in a guaranteed modifier for the rest of the bonus: level one adds five spins with Panda Punch guaranteed on every spin, level two adds three spins with both Panda Punch and Panda Wild guaranteed, and level three adds two further spins with all three modifiers running together. A separate chance called Dumpling Chaos can swap reels for ones loaded with more dumplings during any free spin, speeding up the climb between levels. The round can also be bought outright for 200x the stake, which switches to a marginally higher 95.82% RTP for that purchase.

Outside the buy-in, Shaolin Panda Chaos Reels runs at 95.71% RTP with high volatility, a 40.20% hit frequency and a ceiling of 10,000x the stake, on bets from 0.10 up to 100.
