Spellbinding Mystery

Our recorded Spellbinding Mystery bonuses

We have opened Spellbinding Mystery 4 times between 15 Jun 2026 and 21 Sep 2026 on stream and logged the result. The best of those paid 332× the bet. That is too few opens to say anything about how the game behaves — it is a record of what happened on those occasions, nothing more.

A warlock stands beside the reels in Spellbinding Mystery, Pragmatic Play's witchcraft-themed cluster slot from 2023, narrating the action with voice lines tied to what happens on the grid. Runes in four colours make up the low-value symbols, with a pair of potion bottles, a scroll, a pointed hat and a grimoire forming the premium set.

The grid runs 7 columns by 7 rows, and wins are paid on clusters of at least 7 connected symbols rather than fixed lines, with matches counted in any horizontal or vertical block. A minimum 7-symbol cluster returns 0.5x to 1.5x the stake, scaling up to 100x-500x for a symbol that fills the entire 49-position grid. Volatility is rated the maximum 5 out of 5, bets run from 0.20 up to 100, and the hit frequency works out to roughly 1 in 4.62 spins.

The wild substitutes for any regular symbol and, in the base game, can land with a random multiplier between x1 and x5 applied to every cluster it joins; where a win contains more than one multiplier wild, the values multiply rather than add. A separate Mystery symbol, shown as a star, converts every copy on the grid into the same regular paying symbol once a spin settles.

Three scatter symbols on reels 2, 4 and 6 trigger 10 free spins. Inside the bonus, any position where a Mystery symbol lands gets marked and stays highlighted for the rest of the round; after each spin, every marked position turns into a fresh Mystery symbol. Landing a Mystery symbol on a spot that wasn't already marked carries a random chance of adding an extra spin to the counter. Wild multipliers are also stronger here, always landing at x2, x4, x6, x8 or x10 instead of the base game's range.

Spellbinding Mystery pays out at 96.04% under its default configuration, with 95.05% and 94.02% variants also used, rising slightly to 96.1% when the free spins are bought outright for 100x the stake. The maximum win is capped at 10,000x.
