Beware The Deep Megaways

Our recorded Beware The Deep Megaways bonus

We have opened Beware The Deep Megaways once on 10 Jun 2026 on stream and logged the result. The best of them paid 6.2× the bet. That is too few open to say anything about how the game behaves — it is a record of what happened on that occasion, nothing more.

Pragmatic Play sends Beware The Deep Megaways down into a lit stretch of ocean rather than the pitch-black abyss the theme might suggest, filling the reels with strange marine life and building the soundtrack around that sense of descending mystery. The Megaways engine runs a six-reel section spinning vertically above a four-position reel spinning horizontally underneath, with the row count on the main section changing every spin and the combination producing up to 117,649 ways to win. Turning on the ante bet adds extra scatters to the reels for a 25% increase to the stake.

Card ranks 10 through Ace fill the low-value end of the paytable, and a chest, a dagger, a bottle, a bell, and a shark warning sign make up the premiums; five matching royals pay 0.5x to 0.75x the stake, and premium symbols pay 0.75x to 5x for six of a kind. A shark stands in as the wild, substituting for everything except the scatter, though it can only land on the bottom row of the second through fifth reels. Each wild that lands carries a random multiplier of its own, and that value feeds a running total multiplier that gets applied to the whole spin's win once tumbling finishes, the base game caps individual wild multipliers at 25x, rising as high as 100x once free spins are running. Weed-shaped mystery symbols also appear on the grid and, whenever they land, all transform together into one matching random paying symbol. Every win clears from the reels and lets new symbols tumble down to fill the gaps, so a single spin can chain several payouts in a row.

Landing four or more scatters opens the free spins feature, where players choose between two versions before the round begins. The Deep Free Spins mode starts with 10, 12, 14, or 16 spins depending on how many scatters triggered it, with the option to gamble that total on a wheel for anywhere between 6 and 16; every tumble raises the round's total multiplier by one, wild multipliers add on top, and any further scatters that land during the round add extra spins of their own. Even Deeper Free Spins is built differently: instead of tracking a spin count, the round runs toward a guaranteed multiplier target that starts at 15x, 20x, 25x, or 30x depending on the trigger, climbing with every tumble and every wild until it is reached, with a gamble option to push the target higher or lower first and each additional scatter nudging it up by one. Both modes share the same locking wild, a wild sitting beneath a freshly landed scatter stays in place for one to three extra tumbles, drawing a new multiplier each time.

The feature can also be bought directly: 100x the stake buys entry with four or five scatters, and 250x buys entry with six or seven, with either buy still letting players pick which of the two free spins modes to play.

RTP is 97.47% by default, with 96.54% and 95.49% configurations also offered, against high volatility and a 10,000x maximum win. Bets run from 0.20 to 125 per spin.
