We have opened Cursed Seas 39 times across 39 separate bonus hunts between 25 May 2026 and 4 Oct 2026 and recorded every result. Across those 39 opens the median result was 67.6× the bet, against 50× for every slot in our recorded dataset. The biggest single result we have recorded on it is 481×. 11 of those 39 opens were 100× or better. These figures describe only the sessions we recorded — they are not this slot's RTP and they do not predict what your next bonus will do.

A stormy night at sea sets the mood for Cursed Seas, Hacksaw Gaming's darker pirate release that trades cute treasure-hunting for something closer in tone to the studio's other gothic-tinged games.

The grid is a 5-reel, 4-row layout with 26 fixed paylines, and winning combinations need at least three matching symbols connected from the leftmost reel outward. Anchors, stars, flags, pistols and a skull-and-crossbones make up the lower symbols, with four character icons paying the most; five matching high symbols pay 3x-10x the stake, and both a standard wild and a Cursed Chest symbol can substitute for any paying icon.

Landing a Cursed Chest opens a Cursed Area stretching from its position up to the top of that reel, so long as doing so would create at least one winning line. The chest reveals a multiplier between 2x and 200x, applied to every winning combination running through that Cursed Area, and multiple multipliers on the same win are added together first.

Three lantern scatters trigger Sunken Treasure, ten free spins in which every Cursed Chest opens automatically and its Cursed Area stays in place for the rest of the round, growing whenever another chest lands beneath it; the multiplier values collected add into a running total applied to every Cursed Area on the board. Extra lanterns during the round add two, four or six further spins. Four scatters instead unlock Dead Men Tell No Tales, three spins where only skull and kraken symbols can land. Cursed Skulls reveal a value from 1x to 500x added to a running multiplier above their reel and build a Cursed Area beneath them; Tormented Skulls instead multiply that reel's total by 2x-25x, and Krakens add their own 1x-500x value across every reel's total at once. Any new symbol resets the spin counter back to three, and once spins run out, every reel's multiplier is applied across its Cursed Area and paid out.

Cursed Seas is rated 4 out of 5 for volatility, and its top RTP configuration returns 96.22%, with three lower settings available down to 88.38%. Hit frequency comes in at 37%, the maximum win is 12,500x the stake, and bets run from 0.10 to 100. A feature buy menu lets players pay for improved bonus odds or jump straight into either Sunken Treasure or Dead Men Tell No Tales.
